Dr. Rhoden is a leader in the field of disease prevention and is recognized as an expert consultant and speaker on Health Management. His particular expertise is in prevention and management of cardio metabolic and infectious disease occurring in the occupational setting. Dr. Rhoden is a specialist in Preventive Medicine. He is an expert speaker on lipid management, hypertension management and adult vaccination practice. Through grant writing, Dr. Rhoden has been responsible for funding weight management, exercise, and smoking cessation programs.
Dr. Rhoden currently treats hypertension in addition to other chronic diseases as an attending physician with Rush Medical System. In addition, he is an affiliate professor at the University of Mississippi Medical School and serves as the chronic disease physician consultant for the Mississippi State Department of Health.
Credentials for Dr. Rhoden include board certification in both Preventive Medicine/ Public Health and Family Medicine. In addition, he holds a doctoral degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition. Dr. Rhoden has also trained at the Cooper Aerobics Center in Dallas, Texas; he has trained as a Health Promotion Director from the Cooper Aerobics Center. In addition, Dr. Rhoden has been certified as a Nutrition Specialist (American College of Nutrition) and an Exercise Specialist (American College of Sports Medicine). Sarah Schein is a Registered Dietitian who earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nutrition, with a Minor in Exercise Physiology. She dedicates herself to providing high quality, evidence-based, client-centered nutritional assessments and counseling, as well as group workshops and seminars. Sarah’s background includes various areas of nutrition practice and has a passion for promoting healthy living. Sarah is currently based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she practices medical nutrition therapy for hospitalized patients.
